A Soparfi is a normal commercial entity governed by the 1915 Law on commercial companies. It is fully taxable and there are no restrictions on its field of activity.

Soparfis are used to manage participations in a group of businesses. It is also the preferred vehicle for financing and holding venture capital and private equity investments.
